Not a single plant survives in my house.
And I do not know a great deal about flora.
Yet, when I revisited the Hortus Botanicus in my hometown I was struck by the rich beauty of this perfectly cultured piece of nature.
The architecture of the greenhouses as well the structure of plants and the lush and peaceful atmosphere of this historical garden lured me into this photo project.
To watch the seasons float by in the ever changing light falling trough the foliage and to experience time, space and plants of different hemispheres contained in their own climate glasshouses, was as instructive as rewarding.
